Introduction of CGL Ranger's First Camp


This event was held from 10th to 12th of June 2011, from Friday to Sunday.  There were 172 guides in total and were divided into 8 groups. Teachers taking charge of the camp were Puan Cheah, Puan Kang, Cik Devanei and Cik Nurulashikin. Three schools were invited, Penang Free School, Saint Xavier's Institution and SMJK (C) Chung Ling.




9th of June, Thursday: Pre-camp

Everyone worked really hard on that day and pre-camp ended at around 6PM.

10th of June, Friday: First Day of Camp

After checking in, the atmosphere was getting more and more tense.

At around 8.30, guides from St Theresa's Convent, Singapore arrived. There were 19 of them accompanied by 2 teachers. 

At 10AM, EXCO started their morning inspection.

At 11.35 AM, COOKING TIME!

Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures from Station Games after Modern Cooking. Anyway, after  playing, students started to clean up and had dinner.

Last event of the day, TRADITIONAL NIGHT!

That's the end of the first day of camp!

11th of June, Saturday: Second day of Camp

Students checked in at around 7AM and had an assembly afterwards. Students from other schools arrived much later at 10.30AM.

"Fun Time" was cancelled due to insufficient time.

And it all ended at 11PM

12th of June, Sunday: Third day of Camp

After cleaning up, prizes were given out. XTC Camp officially ended at 2PM.
